Parent-Teacher Associations
A Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is a voluntary organisation bringing together the parents and teachers of students enrolled in a particular school. PTAs participate in fund-raising and other activities relating to the welfare of the school. Individual PTAs throughout Trinidad and Tobago make up the National Parent Teacher Association (NPTA).
Who can join a PTA?
Any parent of guardian of a student can join the PTA at the school in which the student is enrolled.
How do I contact my local PTA?
Anyone can contact their local PTA through the school principal or the PTA representative at the school at which their child is enrolled
Where can I obtain more information?
More information can be obtained from the directory of schools, listed on this site. You may contact the schools in person, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, except public holidays. |
