Parent-Teacher Associations

A Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is a voluntary organisation bringing together the parents and teachers of students enrolled in a particular school.  PTAs participate in fund-raising and other activities relating to the welfare of the school.  Individual PTAs throughout Trinidad and Tobago make up the National Parent Teacher Association (NPTA).

Who can join a PTA?

Any parent of guardian of a student can join the PTA at the school in which the student is enrolled.

How do I contact my local PTA?

Anyone can contact their local PTA through the school principal or the PTA representative at the school at which their child is enrolled

More information can be obtained from the directory of schools, listed on this site.  You may contact the schools in person,  Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, except public holidays.
