CULTURE REPORT
For our school’s Cyberfair project I was put in charge of researching culture in south Trinidad. Working with me were

After much contemplation we decided that culture in south Trinidad would be most adequately demonstrated through an interview with a person who was involved in mas camps at Carnival time. Upon investigation we found someone who is involves not only in the mas camp, but also in the development of people in south Trinidad, Mrs. Jacqui Koon How of House of Jacqui which is found at #60 Irving Street, San Fernando. Mrs. Koon How is a fashion consultant who also conducts a personal development course with young women. She also helps in the designing of Carnival costumes for Ivan Kalliecharan and they have a children’s band. I found that all my group members were willing to help and very cooperative. Our major problem was finding time to meet and discuss our plans of action however I believe we overcame this obstacle well enough.
