Drumology

"Miss… allow us….to ….drum….in class."

" NEVER! They just do not mix."

Yet on that day in February when we agreed to participate in the Cyberfair Competition,

little did we know that drumming would be the “tip of the iceberg.”

Earl Mark Junior (E.J.) came in to talk about his dance and drumming group. Later our standard four class met and interviewed the founder his mother, Mrs. Christine Mark. That was the beginning of an experience that was simply awesome. Belmont Freetown Cultural Performing Arts eventually graced the floors of our multi-purpose hall. Boy, was it a treat! Music, costumes, dance, song and those drums…… we’d like to think of it as

“Drumology at the Belmont.”
