2. Ambassadors for CyberFair Project:
The Students themselves were very excited about being part of this project. They shared information and exchanged ideas to persons in and around the school community via personal contact, telephone and letters.
3. Project Impact:
Our Project has opened the eyes of members of our Community to view Natural Disasters more seriously and to act on the necessary precautious needed for a safer community.
Community members linked with the Fishing Pond Presbyterian School used the school to create a shelter for their community. Emergency supplies were contributed by students and members of the community.
4. Community Involvement:
Members of the community came to the assistance of the Project by donating supplies to the development of the Emergency Shelter. They were very forthcoming with much needed medical and food supplies. Others offered the use of their vehicles to aid in the transportation of villagers to the Shelter. Shop owners agreed to provide any addition food and clothing supplies that might be needed in the event of a disaster. Neighboring schools and other public buildings were equipped to house villagers that might be stranded out of the community. The Community support for this project was indeed overwhelming.
