At lot of the businesses in our area are small and usually family run. Many of the people suppliment their household income by setting up parlours, vegetable stalls and by working in the women's group or with the Unemployment Relief Programme. Sometimes we cannot depend on other people to give us work so many families work for themselves. This project intends to show the steps to setting up a simple business. We need to be self reliant and self motivated especially with the current economic situation (high prices on goods and services). Setting up and running your own business is one way to become self sustaining. Mrs. Khamroon Sookraj a.k.a "Ms. Ena" and her family graciously agreed to help us investigate her home run parlour
