Digital Literacy Course to all Ministry of Education's Staff

ICT Training for Teaching and Non-teaching Staff

In the furtherance of Ministry of Education’s Corporate Plan 2008-2012 that targets the “provision of functional training in ICT for all staff (100% staff trained)”, the Ministry of Education has embarked on a plan to provide certification in Digital Literacy to all staff in the MOE. Phase I was completed in August 2010 and a total of 3271 persons were trained.  Phase II started in November 2010 and  will be completed in August 2011.

This programme is being undertaken in collaboration with the National Energy Skill Centre (NESC) and  includes:

• face to face training at various venues throughout Trinidad and Tobago. For further information Click here.

• An opportunity to sit an examination to employees who already have the knowledge and skill and wish to be certified at Level I competency. For further information Click here
