Flow Trinidad Distributes Devices through Adopt a School

Flow Trinidad is the latest corporate citizen to step forward to ensure that No Child is Left Behind by donating devices to the Ministry of Education’s Adopt-A-School programme. At a brief handover ceremony at the Education Towers on Thursday 10th December, 2020, Dr. the Honourable Nyan Gadsby-Dolly Minister of Education, was joined by Mr. Kurleigh Prescod, Country Manager & Director – Technical Operations, South Caribbean –Flow, Ms. Lenor Baptiste-Simmons, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education and Mrs. Joy Gabriel-Neptune, Principal of Egypt Village Government Primary School.

Flow Trinidad has already donated over 400 tablets to students through its collaboration with in its efforts to incorporate ICT in education. Mr. Prescod noted that this is the first of many donations to come, and pledged the company’s commitment to continue to collaborate with the Ministry of Education.

During the handover, Minister Gadsby-Dolly expressed gratitude to Flow Trinidad for their kind donation and took the opportunity to emphasise the importance of enjoying a wonderful but responsible Christmas season in Trinidad and Tobago, in hope that our students can return to school in 2021. Also in attendance were Ms. Yolande Agard-Simmons, Manager Corporate Communications and Mr. Laurence Modeste, Senior Sales Manager of Flow Trinidad.
