Student performance recognized in SEA 2020

On October 8th, the Ministry of Education joined by Bmobile and Unicomer recognised 11 students who wrote the 2020 Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA). Students received devices and data packages to support their learning as they move forward into secondary school.

The Ministry recognised the top three SEA performers, the top male student, two students from special schools and five students who have excelled from schools which have been working hard to improve overall academic performance. Each student is the recipient of a mobile device with data and Broadband at Home© services for five (5) years from Bmobile. In addition, the top three students received HP laptops from Unicomer Trinidad Limited.

The MOE celebrates the top performers along with all students, who in spite of a myriad of challenges within their own peculiar context, have been able, through personal effort, teacher commitment and parental support to excel.

This year’s recognition of outstanding performance of the SEA 2020 cohort reflects the inclusive Vision 2030 society that the Ministry is striving to build.
